All are welcome to join: we do group drumming, chanting, dancing, live music, movement & breathing, and we usually partake in a vegetarian meal together afterwards.
These practices are based on the many cultures which have come together for thousands of years under the label of “Sufi,” which simply means the authentic expression of our deepest essence, beyond the ego. The purpose of our group work is to practice unity, to bring inner peace, and to open the intelligence of the heart.
We ask for donations to cover expenses — to keep the P&J Center open — $5–$10.
We bring drums and blankets — but if you have a mat/blanket, drum, or any other instrument, please bring it along.

Greetings Beloveds!
We look forward to coming together for our next Hummingbird Wazifa Dance Retreat,
Please mark your calendars as we would love to dance and sing and pray with you beside the Jemez River at Hummingbird Music Camp, embraced by this stunningly beautiful valley in the Jemez Mountains.
We will have flyer and registration information available soon.
As our retreat planning team begins the holy task of producing the event, we open our arms to welcome additional assistance. In particular we are looking for someone with a passion for networking and social media who would be willing to build connections and create a robust presence for our retreat with like-minded groups across platforms like FaceBook and others.
Also, we aspire to have online registration available, and would be thrilled to have someone with experience to join our team to help set up a simple online system to streamline registration both for attendees and Kay our registrar.
Please let us know if you’d like to offer support for getting the word out or creating ease with registration! We’d be deeply grateful for your energy and experience.
May your heart and spirit be filled with joy, inspiration, and community in this New Year!
Blessings,
Tara Andrea, Maboud, Kay, Charey, & Paul D.
